Material Innovations Made in Europe
German Success Stories Supported by European Research Funding
Through its InnoTruck initiative, the BMBF is seeking to encourage public debate on the question of how innovations in technology and science can be driven ahead in order to generate the greatest possible benefit. The exhibition in this double-decker truck presents six important “future tasks” with the aid of various high-tech exhibits, most of them interactive. Every year, it drives to around 80 locations across Germany, giving easy-to-understand demonstrations of the roles that innovations play in our everyday lives to a large cross-section of society, but especially to young people and their parents and teachers.
The National Contact Point Materials advises on EU funding opportunities for research and innovation with a focus on materials. The leaflet provides an overview of the services offered by NCP Materials and presents key data of the EU's Framework Programme for Research and Innovation, Horizon 2020.
